Hi, I’m Nareen 👋🏼

I’m an Entrepreneur, Business Consultant, Start up Coach, and the Writer of this growing newsletter, Inspirele. I’m passionate about building life that is financially and creatively fulfilling, and I want to help more women do the same.

In this picture, you see me delivering my graduation speech at Harvard Business School, a moment that once seemed like an impossible dream. My roots trace back to a small town in Malaysia, where my parents instilled in me the power of hope and resilience. Growing up with limited resources, I learned early on that dreams can be the catalyst for achieving the extraordinary.

As a first generation college student who wanted to be a successful corporate figure and entrepreneur, the road was often challenging. There were gaps in knowledge, hurdles fueled by gender and socioeconomic factors, and moments when people doubted my capabilities. Yet, through it all, I persevered, fueled by the desire to shatter stereotypes and overcome obstacles.

My journey of being a #womaninbusiness is deeply rooted in the entrepreneurial spirit passed down through generations. My mum and grandmother, both small business owners themselves, paved the way for me. Their stories inspire me to keep going, as women who stood up against all odds, to build businesses that supported their families and communities.

About me

I have started and grown two online businesses since graduating from Harvard Business School. I have also worked in leadership roles at Bain & Company, HSBC, and an accelerator platform for SMEs

Over the past decade I've advised CEOs, middle managers, and Board Members to grow their companies, and helped early stage founders in the UK and USA start and scale their businesses globally.

I currently run 2 businesses across business consulting & advisory, entrepreneurship coaching, and e-commerce. I also lead Operations & Business Development at a medium-sized company, running initiatives to scale its revenue, profits, and team size both in the US and UK.
